English Development Through Guided Exploration (EDGE) Program Applications Due September 25

International graduate students are invited to join The Graduate School's English Language Programs (ELP) this fall for English Development Through Guided Exploration (EDGE). EDGE creates opportunities for international students to practice their English conversation skills. EDGE Graduate Student Leaders will plan and lead small group outings in Evanston and Chicago during fall quarter. These outings provide spontaneous, informal practice in spoken English, opportunities to learn about American culture, and a chance to explore Chicago and Evanston while making connections with graduate student peers. Program participants choose the outings that fit their interests and schedule.

To access outings, students must apply to be EDGE participants. PhD students, postdoctoral trainees, and TGS master’s students are all eligible. New students are given priority in registration, but continuing students are also welcome!

To apply, fill out the EDGE Application by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25. Questions? email elp@northwestern.edu.
