Succeeding in Academia After a PhD from Northwestern Talk on June 13
The McCormick Graduate Leadership Council (MGLC) is pleased to invite you to "Succeeding in Academia after a PhD from Northwestern," a talk by Professor Peter Nelson, a Northwestern alumnus and the Dean of Engineering at University of Illinois Chicago. This talk will take place on Thursday, June 13 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at Ford ITW.
Dean Nelson will share his experiences about finding a faculty position, creating your research brand, and discuss how to have a successful career in academia as a PhD graduate from Northwestern.
A reception will follow in Cohen Commons from 5:15 - 6:15 PM. At the reception, students can connect with the Dean over appetizers and beverages.
