The TGS Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Success (GPS) offers proactive and responsive programming to TGS faculty, staff, students, and postdocs to promote a healthy, supportive academic environment across institutional levels.
- GPS Dissertation Fellowship: The GPS Dissertation Fellowship supports sixth-year PhD students with dedicated time to focus on the completion of their dissertation to accelerate their time to degree completion and graduation. The GPS Dissertation Fellowship offers one quarter of funding (tuition and stipend) for the 2026–27 academic year to support eligible PhD students.
- Holistic Admissions and Recruitment Program: Adapted from materials developed by University of Southern California’s EGE Resource Center, the training program offers hands-on tools and strategies based on translational research to provide high-quality, evidence based professional development for faculty and staff to create and sustain institutional change.
- Humanistic Mentoring in Practice: Adapted from materials developed by University of Southern California’s EGE Resource Center, these workshops offer hands-on tools and strategies to strengthen mentoring relationships, foster academic wellbeing, and create more responsive and effective learning environments for graduate students and postdocs.
- Inclusive Teaching Resources: Inclusive frameworks and practices are integral to all teaching and curriculum development. Through the Inclusive Pedagogy for Teaching Assistants and Instructors, The Graduate School provides graduate students and postdoctoral scholars with tools to craft intentional teaching practices.
