The 2020-21 Crown Family Center for Jewish and Israel Studies Crown Fellowship

The Crown Family Center for Jewish and Israel Studies is pleased to announce the competition for the 2020–21 Crown Fellowship, an award given annually to a Northwestern graduate student or group of students whose works bears on some aspect of Jewish history, culture, or religion.  The award includes a tuition scholarship and a monthly stipend of  $2,792.  

Interested candidates should email an application consisting of the following items to the Crown Family Center for Jewish and Israel Studies by Wednesday, May 15.

  • An updated CV
  • A description of the research project along with an anticipated schedule for completion
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A cover letter from the chair of the student's program that describes his or her support for 2020–21.
