MAGS 2020 3MT Competition
The Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) invites graduate students from member institutions to participate in this year’s MAGS Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition.
The 3MT is an academic competition that challenges PhD and master’s students to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages communication about the importance of their research to the broader community.
The 3MT competition will be held during the MAGS annual meeting, April 1-3, 2020 in Milwaukee, WI. Only one student per institution may compete. Students may be pursuing a master’s (thesis only) or PhD degree. Students competing at MAGS must have previously participated in a 3MT competition at their home institution. MAGS will cover the meeting registration cost for the student. Institutions will be responsible for student travel costs.
