Office of Equity Student Advisory Board Applications Due October 1

The Office of Equity will once again be convening a Student Advisory Board (SAB) in 2019–20. The purpose of the Student Advisory Board is to provide a dedicated avenue for student perspective, feedback, and recommendations on the goals, policies, procedures, and services of the Office of Equity. The Office of Equity is committed to integrating student voices into their efforts, and particularly are seeking a Board that reflects the diversity of identities and experiences on campus.

The SAB will meet 1-2 times per month from October through May, with no meeting in December. It is open to graduate, undergraduate, and professional students. Student members will serve on the SAB for one academic year, with the option to apply again the following year. Members will be asked to commit to attending all meetings, and scheduling will seek to accommodate members as much as possible.

Interested students should submit an application by Tuesday, October 1 to be considered. Please note that there are a limited number of available slots on the Board.

Please reach out to Jason McKean or Kate Harrington-Rosen with any questions.
