NSF-GRFP Fellowship Workshop on July 15, 16, and 18

Interested in applying for the NSF-GRFP to fund your graduate studies?

The Office of Fellowships is holding a three-day writing workshop to help students prepare their application materials for the NSF-GRFP Fellowship. The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) provides three years of funding for early career MS and PhD graduate students in STEM fields. The application requires both a research proposal and a personal statement.

This three-day workshop will focus on strategies for developing effective personal and research statements.  We will also discuss the review process, and help students tailor their materials to the GRFP review criteria:  Intellectual Merit and Broader Impacts.  The workshops will be held on Monday, July 15; Tuesday, July 16; and Thursday, July 18 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM in the Office of Fellowships conference room, 1940 Sheridan Road, Evanston.  Each session will build upon the previous one.  Space is limited; so please RSVP by emailing LaTanya Williams.
