The Master of Science in Social and Economic Policy (MSSEP) program is seeking a social media graduate assistant for the 2025–26 academic year with the possibility of extension. The role will provide marketing and communication support, with some occasional administrative or general program assistance. This position can be performed remotely with a need to come in person for certain occasions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create, design, and write weekly social media content and posts
- Follow Northwestern University's brand standards and social media guidelines
- Provide photography and other support during program events
- Create graphic design deliverables on an as-needed basis
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Northwestern graduate student
- Experience in mass communication/marketing preferred
- Knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Working familiarity with Canva, photo editing, and DSLR cameras
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
Pay Rate:
The pay rate will be commensurate with experience.
