Health Insurance

The Graduate School (TGS) works with the Office of Risk Management and the Student Health Insurance Office to provide health insurance to TGS Students. TGS is able to lobby on behalf of the graduate student population, but health insurance policy selections are not made by TGS. Health Insurance Subsidy

The health insurance subsidy is provided to TGS PhD and MFA students who are enrolled full-time (other than TGS-512) and enrolled in the Northwestern University’s student health insurance plan (NU-SHIP). The health insurance subsidy is provided to TGS students only. Dependents/spouses may be enrolled in the plan, but a subsidy is not provided.

Prepayment Plan

Student Finance now offers an installment-based prepayment plan through the QuickPAY payment platform that allows you to make payments before the balance is due. Visit the Student Finance website to learn more about payment procedures and enrollment deadlines.
