Computer Engineering

Degree Types: MS, PhD

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department offers a variety of programs leading to the MS and PhD degrees in computer engineering (CE)computer science (CS), and electrical engineering (EE). The broad interdisciplinary interests of our faculty lead to overlap in these degrees.

Students choose courses based on their division of primary interest (EE, CE, CS). When applying to the PhD or MS program, students should specify one specific division which will represent their major field of study (EE, CE, or CS) Applicants are expected to have adequate background to pursue studies within the three Academic Divisions - EE, CE, CS.

EECS also participates in other graduate programs on campus. For details and contact information, see the respective web sites for each program:

See Computer Engineering Degree Requirements for specific classes and procedures needed to complete this program.
