Graduate Leadership and Advocacy Council
The Graduate Leadership and Advocacy Council (GLAC) is the voice of graduate students in academic and administrative matters at Northwestern University. Through regular meetings and ongoing dialogue between its delegates, GLAC brings the concerns of graduate students to the attention of the deans and administrative staff of The Graduate School (TGS), as well as other stakeholders on both campuses.
To identify these concerns, GLAC polls graduate students through the Annual Graduate Student Life Survey—the results of which are presented to the Northwestern University Board of Trustees and disseminated to TGS, graduate programs and students.

How to participate:
Attend monthly meetings
All are welcome to attend monthly council meetings. Meetings alternate between meeting on the Evanston campus (in the TGS Commons) and the Chicago campus (in the TGS Conference Room). Please see our Meetings page for exact dates and locations. We announce meeting reminders via our email listserv.
