It is the goal of The Graduate School (TGS) to cultivate an environment that values diverse backgrounds, approaches, and perspectives—all essential ingredients for true academic excellence.

The Graduate School Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council (GS-DAiC) 

The GS-DAiC is a board of graduate and professional students, faculty and staff, postdoctoral trainees, alumni, and employee partners who provide feedback and guidance on TGS diversity and inclusion plans. Learn more about the board.

Bias reporting

Reporting, understanding, and preventing unacceptable behaviors such as bias, sexual misconduct, and hazing are essential to maintaining our caring community. Northwestern offers various avenues for
