Holiday Greetings from The Graduate School!
Dear Members of The Graduate School Community,
This past year has been a remarkable demonstration of the strength and resiliency of our community. I am proud of the countless ways you have supported one another and remained dedicated to your research, teaching, mentoring, and academic progress despite numerous obstacles. While many of us have spent much of the year at remote locations on cell phones and computers, our Northwestern connection remains strong. Together, we continue to face the world’s most pressing needs with wisdom, judgment, and innovation to light the path forward.
I am confident we will continue to progress in a positive and productive manner as we enter the new year. The Graduate School and University’s support networks are here to help you in the journey ahead. Until we can be together again in person, my “virtual” door is always open. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything The Graduate School team and I may do to assist you.
My fervent wish for all of you is a winter recess and holiday season filled with peace and relaxation. May your hearts be calm, your spirits be light, and your days be filled with joy and laughter. Thank you for the example you set with your diligence, determination, and strength of character. I am grateful for your contributions to our shared graduate and postdoctoral community and hope the season brings you and your loved ones health and good cheer.
With my best wishes.
