Updates from The Graduate Writing Place

Like the rest of the University, The Graduate Writing Place is adjusting their methods so that they can continue to support students as we all engage in social distancing measures to "flatten the curve." The Writing Place's two primary services have moved online, until at least Monday, May 4.

Individual Writing Consultations Will Resume

Individual Writing Consultations will take place as online appointments using Google Docs and Zoom from Monday, April 6 until at least Monday, May 4. To read more about how we are conducting online appointments, click here. Continue to visit the Writing Place Online Schedule to book online appointments.

Planned Interdisciplinary Writing Groups Will Meet

Interdisciplinary Writing Groups will also move online from Monday, April 6 until at least Monday, May 4. Your group leader should reach out to you to decide what format is best. This will likely also combine Zoom, Google Drive, and Google Doc capabilities.

Would You Like to Join a Writing Group?

Since everyone's schedules and work habits have changed, the Graduate Writing Place is considering holding more Writing Groups online to help us all with the transition to working from home. To read more and apply to join a newly-minted group, visit the Interdisciplinary Writing Group Page on the  Writing Place Website and submit your application by Friday, April 10.
