NINDS Intends to Support Two Research Training Programs (T32s)

The NIH’s National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) posted two notices on intended Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) to support advanced predoctoral students, postdoctoral fellows and fellowship-stage clinicians. One FOA to Support Institutional Translational Research Training Programs (T32) is intended “to stimulate the creation of translational training programs in neuroscience that will equip trainees with research expertise and an understanding of the principles and practices involved in translating basic research findings to clinical therapies, technologies and devices.” The other FOA to Support NINDS-Specific Institutional Research Training Programs (T32) will fund “institutional training programs that encompass basic, clinical, translational or a combination of approaches in any area of research across the NINDS mission.”
