ComSciCon-Chicago 2018 Free Public Keynote Lecture on August 25

The ComSciCon-Chicago 2018 organizing committee is excited to announce that Danielle Lee, Biologist, Blogger, and Co-Founder of the National Science & Technology News Service, will give a free public keynote lecture, "Building personal bridges: connecting your science to your communities" for the ComSciCon-Chicago 2018 workshop!

The keynote lecture is free and open to the public, but registration is required. It will take place from 4:30-5:30 PM on Saturday, August 25 at the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park (814 W. Eastman Street, Chicago, IL 60642).

The ComSciCon workshop series is designed to empower graduate students to communicate the complex concepts arising in science, engineering, and other technical fields to diverse audiences. For more information, email chicago@comscicon.org.
