Join the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities for a wine and cheese gathering for faculty and postdoctoral fellows in the humanities and qualitative social sciences who plan to write individual grant proposals to secure research leave. The focus of this workshop will be to review and discuss the merits/flaws of proposals with a select group of Northwestern faculty who have won and/or reviewed national grants. Ample time is planned for Q&A.

The conversation will be led by Kevin Boyle (History), Vivasvan Soni (English), and Elizabeth Shakman Hurd (Political Science).
