myDATA Phase III: Preparing PhDs for a Data-Driven World Application Instructions

Are you a graduate student or postdoc interested in teaching Python or R to your colleagues? Phase III of the myDATA program will be offering a short “train-the-trainer” series in which trainees will learn to effectively teach computational skills to others. Participants in the train-the-trainer series will gain the skills and knowledge needed to run their own coding workshops at Northwestern. This train-the-trainer workshop series will allow life sciences PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to solidify their teaching skills, gain teaching experience, contribute to the broader Northwestern community by providing valuable training in computational skills for the research community.

PhD students and postdoctoral fellows who are interested in participating must submit a short application by May 16. More details about the program and requirements can be found here. If you have any questions, please email Jasmine Lucas.
