Call for Applications: Kaplan Humanities Institute Graduate Assistantship (2019-20)

Applications are being accepted for the Graduate Assistantship in the public humanities for the 2019-20 academic year. The Assistantship is designed to build professional capacity in programming, research support, and undergraduate mentorship. The role will encompass a broad range of duties, from coordinating undergraduate student involvement in the humanities to building collaborations and outreach initiatives with Northwestern and outside organizations. The goal is to develop skills to build and expand credentials and portfolio in the public humanities, with particular training in understanding the mission and operations of an academic humanities institute.

Neisser Family Curatorial Internship: Summer 2019

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago is excited to collaborate with Kate Neisser and the Neisser Family Foundation to launch the Neisser Family Curatorial Internship. This internship will serve as an opportunity for college and graduate level students of color to learn and work in a leading, globally-focused museum that is vested in their growth and progression. To be considered for this internship, applicants must be applying for an internship in the Curatorial department and identify as a person of color. A stipend of $3,200 is available each term.
