Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Fall 8-Week Program

Registration is now open for the fall session of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

MBSR is an empirically-based approach to mindfulness. It is considered the gold standard the world over for a personal cultivation of mindfulness practice. The 8-week program encourages participants in a supportive atmosphere through meditation, mindful movement, and exploration of the science behind these practices. More information can be found on the Student Affairs website.

  • 8-Week Program: Wednesdays, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM, October 10 - December 5 (no class on November 21)
  • All-Day Retreat: Saturday, November 17 from 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Location: Parkes Hall, 1870 Sheridan Rd., Evanston, IL 60208 
  • Tuition: Students $100, Employees $195, Public $295
    (Need-based scholarships for students are available.)

Tuition includes a yoga mat and a copy of John Kabat-Zinn’s Full Catastrophe Living.

Open to all students, employees, and community members. Class size is limited.
