The Scientist Expo: Exploring Life Science Techniques

The Scientist is offering a unique opportunity to Northwestern faculty members, researchers, and doctors. Piggy backing on their award-winning magazine and websiteThe Scientist is hosting its first ever conference, The Scientist Expo: Exploring Life Science Techniques, which will be focused on life-science tools and techniques, this fall in Chicago.

They have assembled an impressive list of speakers that includes keynote speaker Ellen Jorgensen, cofounder of Genspace, a nonprofit community laboratory dedicated to promoting citizen science and access to biotechnology.

The conference, which will take place September 11-13 at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center, will also feature 19 different breakout sessions by leading researchers covering the hottest topics in the life sciences, an exhibit hall filled with vendors demonstrating the latest laboratory technologies and techniques, and of course, plenty of opportunity for networking, collaboration forging, mingling, and fun.
