New Nature Communication on Charged Interfaces

Modified: October 19, 2017

Charged interfaces, which are important in many chemical and biological systems, are routinely probed using nonlinear optics. Yet, the influence of charge on nonlinear optical signals has only recently been considered. Here, NU Presidential Fellow Paul Ohno (PhD student with Franz Geiger) and co-workers demonstrate the importance of accounting for the interfacial potential-dependent terms in interpreting spectral lineshapes from charged interfaces.
