BioProfessionals Career Development: John Magyar, Assistant Professor Barnard College

You are invited to attend scientific and career discussions with Dr. John Magyar on Wednesday, April 26 in Cook 3118. Dr. Magyar is a graduate of the Chemistry Graduate Program at Northwestern University and an alumnus of the Molecular Biophysics Training Program. After receiving his PhD, Dr. Magyar was a postdoctoral scholar at CalTech and is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Barnard College. Dr. Magyar will be giving a presentation on his current research followed by a career discussion, see below for a detailed schedule. Following the career discussion, there will be lunch for those interested in finding out more about Dr. Magyar’s career path in academia.
