Northwestern Night at the Art Institute of Chicago

The first Northwestern Night at the Art Institute of Chicago this academic year is Thursday October 27, 2016 from 5-8 p.m.
Students, faculty, and staff show a valid WILDcard at the check-in table at the museum’s modern wing entrance (Monroe St.) in exchange for free tickets for themselves and as many guests as they like.
Northwestern Student Organizations & Activities is sponsoring complimentary round-trip transportation via bus for students between the museum and the Evanston campus for this special event. Buses will leave from outside Cahn Auditorium (at Sheridan and Emerson) starting at 4 pm; last bus will depart at 4:45 p.m. Other guests are encouraged to take public transportation.
The Art Institute will be offering specially curated tours; the first one will take place at 6 p.m. of the Modern Wing and the second at 7 p.m. of works in the spirit of Halloween.
Current exhibitions include: Moholy-Nagy: Future Present, Master Drawings Unveiled: 25 years of Major Acquisitions, Abstract/Object, and several others. Full information is available at the Art Institute Chicago’s exhibition page.
