Introducing The ShakespeaReveal!

Modified: March 15, 2016

The ShakespeaRevel will feature an eclectic array of events from April 22 – May 1, 2016.

To get the fun started, we have launched the 400 for the 400th Video Project — 400 videos of people reading Shakespeare passages in honor of Shakespeare’s 400 year celebration. The Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities invites everyone from the Northwestern community to record a video; just go to the website, click on a passage, and hit the record button. Who knows? You might even end up in the Revel Mashup video!

Other ShakespeaRevel highlights:
Catch My Soul—Psychedelic rock opera film adaptation of Othello
Play the Knave interactive digital game—Design, direct and act—as a motion-mapped avatar—in scenes from Shakespeare’s plays
Lecture with Gina Bloom (UC Davis), the creator of "Play the Knave”
Revel at the Rock— Street-style performances of comedy, fights, music and slams, outdoors and in the round

And more — keeping checking the website for program updates.
Merrily presented by the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities.
