Graduate Student Opportunities for 2016-17 Academic Year Residential Colleges

Modified: April 6, 2016
Student Faculty Dinner
Do you enjoy working with undergraduates?  Are you interested in a rewarding employment opportunity on campus?  The Office of Residential Academic Initiatives anticipates openings for graduate students during the 2016-2017 academic year.
Graduate students who previously served in these roles with residential colleges were most enthusiastic about how this experience helped them:
  • understand and work with undergraduates
  • network with colleagues and faculty from different schools/fields
  • improve their ability to teach
  • provide a supportive community outside of their department
  • improve their organizational effectiveness
In addition to an annual stipend (currently $ 10,560.00, allocated through monthly paychecks, Sept to June inclusively), employed graduate students have access to a provided campus office and computer in the residential college. The graduate students also have access to meals with their affiliated residential college during academic sessions.
Informational sessions on these appointments will be held on the Evanston Campus.  Interested graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend one of these informational sessions:
Thursday, March 31, 5:00-5:45 pm, Armadillo Room (Room 208), Norris University Center
