Graduate Research Assistantship available for FY2017

Modified: May 23, 2016

Huey Copeland, Associate Professor of Art History and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in The Graduate School, has an opening for a graduate research assistantship for FY2017. The position, which comes with a full stipend and tuition remission, is open to any student in good standing who is entering their 6th year or below of doctoral study at Northwestern (students in years 2-5 would be eligible to bank their normative TGS package funding to support their 6th year of study).

The graduate research assistant will be responsible for helping Professor Copeland research, fact-check, and acquire permissions for his scholarly projects and for providing research, clerical, and logistical assistance for his teaching and administrative work. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and some familiarity with the resources and protocols for research in art history and black studies. Interested students should send a CV and a brief paragraph outlining their interest in and preparedness for the position to Professor Copeland by Friday, June 3, 2016 at 12pm.
