Fellowship Proposal Writing Workshop for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

Modified: January 11, 2016

The Graduate School offers a series of fellowship proposal writing workshops in alignment with specific deadlines and led by writing experts. The goal is to help students and postdoctoral fellows produce the strongest possible writing for proposals, understand what reviewers are looking for, edit writing to be clear, concise, interesting, and persuasive, and increase the likelihood of securing funding. This is a writing workshop and participants must be prepared to bring drafts of their grant proposals to each session for peer and instructor review.

This is a multi-meeting workshop and will held on the Evanston campus (exact room TBA) from 5:00-6:30 PM on ALL of the following days: January 26, February 2, February 9, February 16.  (Additional session or one-on-one meetings will be scheduled with instructor as needed.) Participants are expected to attend all meetings.

Registration is required and space is limited.  Please register here and have your advisor/supervisor send a very brief email of support (1-2 sentences will suffice) to Kate Veraldi no later than January 22.
