The Learn@Northwestern system is now live. This system will support the University’s goal of 100% compliance with NSF requirements for Responsible Conduct of ResearchCR training through better communication and monitored compliance.

Phase one of the system’s implementation includes RCR training. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers supported by National Science Foundation awards will be automatically assigned RCR training. Students can access the system by going to Learn@Northwestern and logging in using their University NetID and password. Their RCR curriculums will appear under the “My Learning” tab. For detailed instructions, select the curriculum and view its description.

It is important to note that the most significant changes impact only postdoctoral researchers who will now be required to register for RCR classes in Learn@Northwestern. For more information about Learn@Northwestern, please visit Learning & Organizational Development. To learn more about the RCR requirements, visit the Office for Research Integrity website or contact Beth Irwin, Research Training Manager in ORI at bethirwin@northwestern.edu.
