Developed by the American Anthropological Association in collaboration with the Science Museum of Minnesota, RACE is the first national exhibition to tell the stories of race from the biological, cultural, and historical points of view. Combining these perspectives offers an unprecedented look at race and racism in the United States.

NU Day at the RACE Exhibit will feature a talk by Medill Assistant Professor Larry Stuelpnagel, an Emmy award winning reporter who teaches broadcast and multimedia reporting. Free transportation will be provided by One Book.

Check-in time: 12:15-12:25 pm, Saturday, January 10.
Check-in location*: 1855 Sheridan Road, Evanston Campus
*South campus, corner of Hinman Ave. and Sheridan Rd.
We will return to campus by 4 pm.
We plan for our bus to arrive at the museum by 1 pm for entry.  Attendees will have sufficient time to peruse the “RACE: Are We So Different?" exhibit. We will host a facilitated discussion at the museum after viewing  the exhibit.
