The Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion was established in 2015 and is situated within the Office of the Provost with a mission to help create and sustain a diverse, inclusive and welcoming environment for all Northwestern community members including students, faculty, staff and alumni. - Northwestern Chicago Out Network
Northwestern Chicago Out Network is the campus- and affiliate-wide networking group for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) identified individuals and allies. See Northwestern Chicago Out Network.
- NIH Diversity Offices
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has many offices that focus on some aspect of scientific workforce diversity that are described here as well as individual NIH institute and center diversity pages. See NIH Diversity Offices.
- NIGMS Division of Training, Workforce Development, and Diversity
The National Institute of General Medical Sciences manages Enhancing the Diversity of the NIH-Funded Workforce, also known as the Diversity Program Consortium (DPC), a trans-NIH program funded by the NIH’s Common Fund. Through this national collaborative, NIH works together with institutions to advance the DPC’s overarching goal of developing, implementing, assessing and disseminating innovative, effective approaches to research training and mentoring.
