Health subsidies for full-time Northwestern University graduate students enrolled in the NU health plan vary according to the school and program to which the student belongs. The subsidy to be provided by The Graduate School is calculated at either 100%, 65% or 50% of the cost for the health insurance plan.

Students should complete the Payroll Deduction Authorization form  to deduct the insurance expenses from the stipend.  The completed form must be submitted by September 8, 2009, to the Office of Student Accounts on either the Evanston or Chicago campus in order for the first deduction to be taken from your September paycheck. Subsequently, the form must be submitted by the 8^th of each month for processing by the end of the month.
