Cassandra Hart

Cassandra Hart is a doctoral candidate in the department of Human Development and Social Policy in the School of Education and Social Policy. Advised by David Figlio, Cassandra conducts research on educational policies.  Her recent work has focused on evaluating a means-tested voucher program in Florida, the Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarship Program. Cassandra’s dissertation addresses a variety of issues surrounding FTC program, including the aspects of public school and private school market contexts that predict which students participate in the program, private school supply responses to the program, and changes in public school performance and policies that result from increased competition.
