NIH Proposal Writing Workshop for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

The Graduate School will offer a proposal writing workshop for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.  The workshop is for those preparing a proposal for the upcoming NIH NRSA deadline. This workshop will also be beneficial for postdoctoral fellows developing K99 proposals.

The Graduate School offers a series of fellowship proposal writing workshops in alignment with specific deadlines and led by writing experts. The goal is to help graduate students and postdoctoral fellows produce the strongest possible writing for proposals, understand what reviewers are looking for, edit writing to be clear, concise, interesting, and persuasive, and increase the likelihood of securing funding. This is a writing workshop and participants must be prepared to bring drafts of their NIH NRSA or K99 grant proposals to each session for peer and instructor review.

The workshop will meet on the Chicago campus, Abbott Hall Graduate School Conference Room (Abbott 327), on all of the following dates from 11:30am - 1 PM each day:  February 26, March 5, March 12.

Please complete this short application to participate.
