Improv for Networking

Modified: November 8, 2017

Successful networking requires confidence, thinking on your feet, and finding the right words on the spot to impress strangers-the same qualities that many improv comedy performers demonstrate on stage. Stand out (positively!) in a crowd by attending this workshop hosted by the Northwestern University Advanced Degree Consulting Alliance (ADCA). In 2 hours, a trained Second City facilitator will help you learn how to utilize the tools of improvisation to acquire basic networking skills: improving your listening and retention skills, making interesting discoveries in conversation, thinking on your feet, and avoiding the dreaded "deer in the headlights" look. Join ADCA on Monday, November 13th, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM CDT in Annenberg Hall, Room G02 (2120 Campus Dr, Evanston, IL).

Tickets are $5. Food and refreshments will be provided. A wildcard will need to be presented at check-in for the workshop. Please visit this webpage for event details and ticket information. For questions, contact ADCA.
