NUPF Programming and Data Science Summer Workshops

NUPF, SPIE and NUIT are organizing a 5-days workshop over the summer for post-docs and graduate students with no or little experience of programming to learn about the basics of programming and data science. For details, please see the website: http://www.data-science-summer-workshops.org/
 
Each day of the workshop will run from 9am to 5pm, with 50% lectures (from NUIT staff) and 50% exercises (with TAs help).  There will be 2 coffee breaks and one lunch break provided.

The workshop is divided into three parts, detailed below.  Registration for each part is separate and requires a small registration fee. Follow the links for further details.
 
Tuesdays 07/18 & 07/25: Intro to programming with Python ($10)
Thursdays 08/03 & 08/10: Python for Data analysis ($10)
Thursday 08/17: Intro to Databases ($5)

Please register fast as the room is limited. They will have a wait list if the registrations exceed the available room.
