Call for Proposal – National Academic Conference “Framing the Value of Diversity & Inclusion in Higher Education: Setting the Research Agenda.”

Proposals for a national academic conference to feature current scholarly research on diversity and inclusion and provide a venue for academics to exchange ideas from across disciplines are now being accepted. The conference theme is “Framing the Value of Diversity & Inclusion in Higher Education: Setting the Research Agenda.”  It aims to increase awareness of new directions in current and emerging research particularly intersectional, interdisciplinary and innovative critical scholarship.  Faculty and postdocs are invited to convene from around the nation to share innovative national studies, examine existing challenges and opportunities, and explore current findings.  

The conference will be held on October, 5th, 6th &7th in New Jersey at Rutgers University-New Brunswick.  If you would like to submit a proposal for a panel presentation or a proposal for an individual research paper, please respond to this call no later than July 17th.  For more information please see the Call for Proposal [PDF] , which links to the application form and conference website.  They welcome proposals from scholars of diverse backgrounds and diverse disciplines.
