3rd Annual NRMN-CAN Professional Development and Grantwriting Conference

Modified: October 3, 2017

Postdocs and junior faculty are invited to apply to the exciting, fully funded 3rd Annual NRMN-CAN Professional Development and Grantwriting Conference, October 29-31, 2017 at the Big Ten Conference Center near Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. This conference is an initiative of the Big Ten Academic Alliance and made available through the National Research Mentoring Network Supplement Program NRMN-CAN.

The NRMN-CAN Conference will connect you with postdocs and junior faculty across the Big Ten network. It will provide professional development opportunities and will include the kickoff of intensive grantwriting groups led by assigned faculty coaches with which you will continue to meet after the conference. Please consider applying if you are currently preparing or planning an NIH grant application and can bring a copy of your Specific Aims to the conference. The theme this year for our professional development workshops will be on teaching for academic careers.

Please see the NRMN-CAN website and this flyer for conference details and eligibility, and contact Laurie Risner with any questions.
