The Mechthild Esser Nemmers Prize in Medical Science Lecture

The Feinberg School of Medicine invites you to attend a keynote lecture by Huda Zoghbi, MD, the inaugural recipient of the Mechthild Esser Nemmers Prize in Medical Science awarded by Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The talk is titled "Rett Syndrome: A winding path from clinic to bench and back to the clinic."

Dr. Zoghbi is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and professor at Baylor College of Medicine. She is known for her groundbreaking research on Rett syndrome and other neurological disorders.

The Mechthild Esser Nemmers Prize in Medical Science is awarded to a physician-scientist whose body of research demonstrates works of lasting significance in the field of medical science. This biennial prize is one of the four Nemmers Prizes administered by Northwestern University.
