Save the Date: Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day 2016, Thursday, April 28

Modified: April 13, 2016

Northwestern’s 22nd annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day will be held on April 28, 2016.  This event is part of a national public education program designed to offer girls and boys exposure to a variety of workplace roles.  This year Northwestern’s program will be held on both the Evanston and Chicago campuses with activities built around a STEM curriculum that combines math and science with fun.  The Office of Human Resources will be hosting the program this year, and is pleased to have continuing sponsorship support from the Women’s Center, the Association of Northwestern University Women (ANUW), and the Office of the President.

This year's event will again be educational and fun-filled for both participants and chaperones. Volunteers are needed to make this a truly amazing day for our children, so if you are able to help on April 28th, please fill out and submit this volunteer form.  Everyone’s cooperation and support is needed to allow flexibility in participating and/or volunteering in this event.

The event’s website is available hereRegistration ends on April 13.  Please register early to secure a spot, as there are a limited number of spaces available.  The fee is $15/child and $15/adult, which helps to offset the program expenses.

Should you have any questions, please contact Margaret Mersch, Benefits Financial Manager (847.491.2992).
