Application: (Please note - Application is available to candidates receiving PhD or completing 1st or 2nd year of first postdoc position between December 2016 and August 2017).

Professional Development Program Summary

  • 24 month cross-functional program with 3 eight-month assignments which provide exposure to various technologies and career opportunities throughout BASF.
  • Assignments will be located in a variety of locations throughout the U.S., each assignment will be a new location supporting a different business unit
  • First rotation must be a technical assignment at one of our Research Development and Technical hubs
  • May lead to opportunities in research, development, or applications in the following: materials, organic chemical, polymer, agro-chemical, biotechnology, ecology, and quality improvement, production/process support, innovation, and technical business functions
  • Potential start dates are March, July and September of 2017

Basic Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering and Material Science
  • PhD Graduation dates: December 2016 - August 2017  OR completing  1st  or 2nd  year of first Post-Doctorate position
  • Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Bilingual a plus
