Gender and Sexuality Resource Center Upcoming Events

Attend the Safe Space Ally Workshops in Spring 2015:

The Safe Space Ally Workshops are the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center's initiative to educate people who support LGBTQIA individuals within our campus and global community. The workshops are divided into two, two-hour sessions: Part A- Creating Affirming Spaces and Part B- Ally Development.  Learn more hereRegistration required, please register here to attend the workshops below:

  • April 23rd from 3-5pm in Norris Arch Room 206 - Part II: Ally Development (All)
  • April 28th from 3-5pm in Norris Arch Room 206 - Part I: Creating Affirming Spaces (Faculty & Staff)
  • May 13th from 3-5pm in Norris Arch Room 206 - Part II: Ally Development (All)

Out in the Workplace
All are invited to learn about LGBTQ considerations in the workplace on April 30th from 6-8 pm in Norris, Rock Room.  Hear from a panel of out professionals and have the opportunity to learn about resources and current trends. Attendees can ask questions anonymously or have one-on-one conversations with out professionals about their experience. Attendees are also welcome to discuss questions and concerns in groups.  Log in to CareerCat to RSVP (under Events > Workshops) to attend.
