Merck Darmstadt Germany Innovation Cup

Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, at the occasion of its 350th anniversary, will conduct a special Anniversary Edition of the Merck Innovation Cup Summer Camp from July 16-24, 2018,. The Innovation Cup is an initiative for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to attend a training program near Frankfurt, Germany designed to support their professional development in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry. Computational Research Methods Training for Life Scientists

PhD students and postdoctoral fellows in the life sciences are invited to apply to the myDATA program, a Burroughs Wellcome Fund-supported program that provides training in computational research methods in the form of a 20-week mentored research project. Students and postdoctoral fellows who are interested in participating must submit a 1-page proposal by December 15.

Burroughs Wellcome Fund Postdoctoral Enrichment Program (PDEP)

Postdoctoral Enrichment Program (PDEP) provides a total of $60,000 over three years to support the career development activities for underrepresented minority postdoctoral fellows in a degree-granting institution (an institution includes its affiliated graduate and medical schools, hospitals and research institutions) in the United States or Canada whose training and professional development are guided by mentors committed to helping them advance to stellar careers in biomedical or medical research. Applications are due via online submission by January 16.
