To enable effective communication with its constituents the OPA maintains and moderates the following listservs (instructions to subscribe are at the end of the page): 

1. OPA-members is the primary listserv the OPA uses to distribute information related to postdoctoral training.  The type of information that is posted to this listserv includes the following:

• Job opportunities, trends in the workplace
• Funding information, grant deadlines, awards
• Workshops, meetings, training opportunities and conferences
• Postdoctoral association and postdoctoral office events
• Registration and reminders for professional development workshops
• News on guidelines and policies on postdoctoral education at Northwestern

2. OPA_community listserv serves as a mailing list to enable advertising amongst the OPA’s constituents of items including personal for sale, rental properties, opportunities, social events.

3. EUPD is a listserv to support increased interactions amongst Northwestern’s researchers from Europe

 To post a message, please send an email to postdocs@northwestern.edu with EUPD in the subject line.

In order to ensure compliance with the University listserv regulations, the listservs are not ‘open listservs’ so messages are approved by the OPA before being sent to the listserv. All efforts will be made to forward the email the same day, please allow 48 to 72 hours for the email to be posted.
