Diversity

The Graduate School's Multicultural Affairs division promotes diversity in Northwestern's student population by helping to recruit a diverse body of applicants and by providing support services to those students.

Activities sponsored by or coordinated through this office include:

• matching new students with peer advisors
• quarterly receptions to create networking opportunities for students
• working with academic programs to design and promote discipline-specific recruitment efforts
• maintaining a list of alumni who can serve as a resource to current and prospective students
• administration of the Summer Research Opportunity Program
