Employment at Northwestern University
Many types of employment opportunities are available at Northwestern University.Positions as residence hall assistants or residence hall coordinators are available for qualified graduate students. Information about requirements, stipends, and deadlines for application may be obtained from the Office of University Residential Life, Scott Hall, Room 10, 601 University Place, Evanston, Illinois 60208-1009; phone 847/491-3541.
The ten undergraduate residential colleges at Northwestern University offer select graduate students the opportunity to contribute to their academic programs and social life as college associates and assistant masters. More information is available from Residential Colleges, Scott Hall, Room 38, 601 University Place, Evanston, Illinois 60208-1000. Students may serve as assistant masters while holding University fellowships or teaching assistantships.
In addition, positions of all types, both part- and full-time are available with the various Northwestern University offices. Employment outside the University
Students may also obtain placement assistance for employment outside the University through University Career Services (UCS), located at 620 Lincoln Street, Evanston, Illinois 60208. Students on the Evanston campus desiring part-time or summer employment are invited to register with UCS. There is no charge for this service. (See the Student Life section of this web site.)
