TGS Catalyst Grant
Purpose
The Graduate School’s Catalyst Grant provides students, faculty, and academic programs with resources to promote exciting events and programming. This fund continues our efforts to raise awareness of The Graduate School on and off the Northwestern University campus.
Applications should be submitted electronically, at least one quarter in advance of the event. Proposals will be accepted up to the end of the fourth week of each quarter. The reviewing committee will make decisions by the end of the fifth week and communicate the awards via email.
Winter deadline: Friday, October 12, 2012
Spring deadline: Friday, February 3, 2012
Summer deadline: Friday, April 20, 2012
Application Requirements
All applications must include:
- A brief explanation of the proposed project/event. This should include an assessment as to how this will bring visibility to the University and Department/Program (less than 1000 words).
- A budget proposal for the event/project. (Special consideration will be given to applications that have revenue from multiple sources)
- A statement of how and in what venues TGS will be mentioned as a sponsor
Please note: Awardees must work with TGS on marketing/publicity and provide a short summary of program success
