Bachelor’s/Master’s Combined Degree
Application and Admissions
  • Students must submit the following materials to the admitting program admission office to be considered for admission into this combined program:*
    • Completed application, available in PDF format; application requires signature of director of graduate study for the target program, undergraduate advisor or school undergraduate dean, and TGS associate dean
    • Two recommendations are required for all WCAS students and for all students with a cumulative GPA below 3.5
    • Official transcripts
  • Once the program reviews the application, the student is recommended by the program to TGS by sending the signed, completed application and one copy of the official transcripts to the admissions office at TGS.
  • TGS must receive completed application by stated quarterly deadline; schools and programs can set own internal submission deadlines
  • TGS will send an admission letter to the student in PDF format only; admit letter and completed PDF application are sent electronically to all copied on original application, as well as to Registrar’s Office so the student may have his/her status changed

*Students in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science are guaranteed admission to the BS/MS combined program if they have a 3.5 cumulative GPA after having earned 36 units of credit.  Application materials may be waived by the admitting program for such students, but TGS must still receive transcripts and an application for the student to admit the student to graduate study.
