The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) offers a number of master's degree programs under the auspices of TGS.  Most students who attend SCS work full-time and attend Northwestern University part-time in the evening and on weekends. Many are completing a degree or professional development program to meet career and lifetime goals; others are seeking to satisfy prerequisites for application to graduate programs; and many simply want to learn more about subjects that interest them.

While the evening course offerings are designed to accommodate the often hectic schedules of working professionals, SCS programs offer students the intensive academic experience for which Northwestern University is known.
