GNDR_ST 391 Writing Women's Lives (1): A writing-research seminar in which students develop projects that illuminate the lives of women and their contributions to American culture.
GNDR_ST 392 Gender and Autobiography (1): Investigation of women and men as readers and producers of autobiography. Exploration of memory and construction of self in relation to gender, culture, and ethics.
GNDR_ST 395 Sexuality and Its Discontents (1): Social and historical constructions of sexuality; the emergence of lesbianism and homosexuality as medical and then political categories; and issues of sexual domination and violence.
